     Fine Handcrafted Classical and Flamenco Guitars
Acoustic Haven Guitars of Austin offers a selection of fine handcrafted classical guitars
from some of today's leading contemporary builders.  Here you will find classical and
flamenco guitars from makers such as Alejandro Cervantes, Kenny Hill, Francisco
Navarro, Johnny Walker, and Pete Barthell.  Designs based of the old masters  Hauser,

Pete Barthell ~ Originally from Chicago Pete  now hails
from the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.  His
guitars can be found in classical guitar shops in the
Northwestern US including Portland and Seattle.

Every part of the guitar is handcrafted by Pete, except of
course the strings and tuners.  His rosettes are one of a
kind and unique to each guitar.  

Pete favors simplicity in design and simplicity in
appearance.  He borrows from Torres and Hauser but
ultimately his bracing system is unique to his own ideas.  
He uses a five- or seven-strut bracing pattern,
symmetrical, in a very plain interior.

Pete builds his instruments from the  finest woods
and each is an example of  immaculate
workmanship right down to every small detail.

This particular instrument features matted finished
Cedar soundboard, Rio Madagascar body,
Schaller tuners with ebony knobs.
