| Originally from Paracho Mexico, famous for it's guitar building community, Alejandro Cervantes ate, slept and drank guitars while growing up. He started making guitars at a young age helping his father who was also a luthier. He is also an accomplished musician having studied classical guitar at the School of Fine Arts in Morelia, the National Conservatory of Music in Mexico City, and at the School of Erudite Music in Bahia, Brazil. Today Alejandro operates Cervantes Guitar Company, a second generation company with workshops in Paracho and San Diego, California. . Cervantes guitars are made from the vantage point of an accomplished musician dedicated to the craft of lutherie, combining handcrafted and modern techniques, using the best materials available.
